January

Where is the time going Ms. Annie wants to know?

She did want her admirers to know she loves cats (in a good way), and would not mind living with one or more in her new home, especially if the cats would play with her.

Annie is such a happy little girl, the longer she stays here the more I am tempted to keep her, but my better judgement is ruling over my heart. I know the perfect home is waiting for her, a quiet one, with other greyhounds, a fence, and soft beds.

Learning

Annie and I took a walk yesterday, accompanying us was my other foster hound who is very friendly, happy, and at ease in most situations. I chose her, hoping her positive energy would flow to Annie. Alas, it did not, poor Annie did not enjoy being out of the security of the house and back yard. This was a learning experience to determine if Annie would be OK in a home without a fence. Annie made it pretty clear she wants a home with a fenced yard.

Happy New Year

Annie did not party hardy last night, she snoozed the arrival of 2012 away, even when there were fire works in the neighborhood. She had a nice holiday, got plenty of food and treats, maybe too much, her ribs are no longer visible.

Her wish is everyone has a great new year, and that all available greyhounds find loving home of their own.
